Quick Start

Up and running in under an hour.

Run TaktClock_Server.exe on your server machine

Double-click the server executable on the Windows PC that will act as your server. It starts a Flask + Waitress web server on TCP port 5000 automatically. Keep this machine on during production hours.

Open the admin panel in your browser

Navigate to http://[server-ip]:5000/admin from any machine on the LAN. This is where you configure areas, processes, subprocesses, and standard hours.

Configure your production areas and standard hours

Add your production areas (e.g., Assembly Line 1, Machining, Wiring & Test), then add processes and subprocesses within each area. Enter standard hours manually or connect your ERP for automatic sync.

Deploy TaktClock.exe to operator workstations

Copy TaktClock.exe to each operator workstation and configure it to point at your server IP. Operators open the client, enter their employee number and MO number, and their takt timer starts immediately.

Open the supervisor dashboard

Navigate to http://[server-ip]:5000/dashboard from any browser on the LAN. The Floor Map and Operations Table update every 30 seconds automatically. No login required for read-only monitoring views.
