Every feature in TaktClock exists because a plant manager, CI engineer, or line supervisor couldn't get an answer they needed from their ERP. Here's what we built instead.
The takt timer is the core of TaktClock. Every operator who starts a Manufacturing Order gets a live elapsed-time display on their screen. The timer counts up from zero, measuring actual time against the standard hours expected for that specific subprocess.
A color-coded progress bar fills as time passes — green while within takt, red the moment they exceed it. The remaining time counter goes negative in HH:MM:SS format so overrun is explicit and unambiguous for the operator, the supervisor, and the live dashboard simultaneously.
The Operations Table shows every active Manufacturing Order across your entire facility in one live view. Nine columns: employee number, MO number, part number, area, process, subprocess, elapsed time, remaining time, and status. Color-coded and filtered.
| Emp # | MO Number | Area | Subprocess | Elapsed | Remaining | Status |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 7214 | MO-7821044 | Assembly Line 1 | Terminal Crimp | 01:12:30 | 00:31:44 | On Time |
| 6831 | MO-7820998 | Assembly Line 2 | Final Assembly | 02:31:14 | −00:21:14 | Over Takt |
| 5522 | MO-7821051 | Machining | Sub-Assembly | 00:44:10 | 00:51:05 | On Time |
| 8803 | MO-7820965 | Assembly Line 1 | Connector Install | 03:14:00 | −00:44:00 | Over Takt |
| 4417 | MO-7821063 | Machining | Hipot Test | 01:02:00 | 00:28:14 | On Time |
The Floor Map shows every production area in your facility colored green (on pace) or red (over takt), updated every 30 seconds. Supervisors know the status of every area from their desk — no walking required.
Configurable to match your actual floor layout. Each area tile shows its name, status, and the number of active sessions. Three live KPIs displayed below: Hours Produced, Hour Adherence, and Schedule Adherence.
TaktClock captures actual elapsed time from every session. The Yamazumi Chart is built from that data — not a time study conducted six months ago. The takt line is drawn from the real average expected time across active sessions.
Switch between process-level view and subprocess-level detail with one click. The CI engineer looking at this tab after a shift sees current-state line balance — not an estimate.
Click any tab below to see what each view provides. All are included in the Professional plan at no extra cost.
Stacked bar chart of actual elapsed time per operator by subprocess, with a live red dashed takt line calculated from current session data. Group by Process or Subprocess. Updated every shift from real session records — not a time study.
Calculates average elapsed time vs. standard time for every subprocess across all sessions, then ranks by overrun. Shows which subprocess is driving the most delay across the floor — updated every shift, no time study required. Connects directly to the Kaizen Log for action tracking.
Hours available vs. hours planned by area and week. See where the line is over- or under-loaded before it becomes a missed deadline. Calculated from actual standard hours and current session data, not from estimates.
Historical adherence over rolling periods. See whether Hour Adherence and Schedule Adherence are improving or drifting over time. Essential for validating whether improvement initiatives are actually moving the metrics.
High-level KPIs: hours produced vs. planned, adherence %, on-time delivery rate, and top-line schedule performance. Designed for the VP of Operations who needs a daily snapshot without drilling into session-level detail.
Hourly actual vs. target production count, calculated automatically from session completions — no manual data entry. Shows which hours were on pace and which weren't. A digital version of the traditional whiteboard hour-by-hour board, updated in real time.
Tracks changeover events by category with time recording. Each changeover is logged with start time, end time, area, and operator. Builds the dataset for SMED improvement projects: which changeovers take longest, which areas have the most events, are times improving?
Fires a notification within 30 seconds when any job exceeds its standard time. Supervisors are notified while there is still time in the shift to intervene. Alert history is logged for pattern analysis — which areas, which subprocesses, which operators generate the most alerts.
MO-level time reports with actual vs. standard comparison for every session on that MO. Shows total actual time, total standard time, variance, and individual subprocess breakdown. Exportable to CSV for Power BI or Excel analysis.
Structured action log for improvement activities. Each action has an owner, a due date, a status, and a link to the area or subprocess it addresses. Connects improvement actions to the data that prompted them — from the Bottleneck tab to a tracked kaizen action in one click.
Shows which operators are qualified for which processes. Used for workforce planning, cross-training decisions, and understanding which operators have the flexibility to cover a bottleneck area.
Structured handover notes and outstanding issues passed between shifts. Ensures the incoming supervisor knows what was left incomplete, what was at risk at end of shift, and what needs immediate attention at the start of the next shift.
Downtime events logged by category (breakdown, changeover, material shortage, planned maintenance, etc.) with duration and area. Pareto chart shows which categories are consuming the most time. Essential data for OEE calculation and improvement prioritization.
Visual tracking of MO progression through production stages. Know at a glance where every active MO is in the routing — which stage it's in, how long it's been there, and whether it's on track to hit its due date.
Read-only connection to Infor M3, SAP ECC/S4HANA, Oracle, Epicor, or Dynamics 365. Auto-syncs standard hours from your ERP so takt targets are always current — no manual re-entry. Adapters are installed on the server and activate on restart. No API licence required for M3.
One-click CSV export of all session tables: employee, MO, part, area, process, subprocess, elapsed time, standard time, date, and shift. Available on all plans. Load directly into Power BI, Tableau, or Excel for custom reporting and historical analysis.
30 minutes. We'll show every feature running against your areas, your processes, and your standard hours.
